A Bit About Me

My name is Samantha Mayer. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). I majored in English, with two minors, Technical and Professional Writing and Film Studies, with a Certification in Video Production. I graduated from Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) with an Associate's degree in Simulation and Game Development, where I also studied 3D Animation and Modeling and Programming.

That sounds like a mixed bag of skills and experiences, but they do happen to overlap in many ways. My love of writing came from films and games, and due to the versatile nature of writing, I learned to apply what I have learned to different fields, such as news writing, copywriting, and technical writing. For the longest time, I have known that I have other interests besides writing and began to act on developing these interests into actual usable skills.
